This week marks CelebMix’s five year anniversary so what better way to celebrate than to write about some of our favourite celebrities, this article is dedicated to Lous Tomlinson and some of the brilliant videos he’s released over the years.
Walls: The Directors cut
Our all-time favourite Louis Tomlinson video so far is the Walls: The Directors Cut. From the cinematography to the intricate plot with all it’s layers. It’s an extremely powerful watch. A video you see something new everytime we watch it.
Just Like You
There is not enough words to express how we feel about how over looked we feel the video for Just Like You. It’s on heck of message from the Tommo, telling the world just how aware he is of what’s going on around him and within the world.
Two Of Us: Richard’s story
Louis shot the video in his home town of Doncaster, which to us is reason enough to include it in the list, as we love a boy who doesn’t forget his roots. But the fact it’s a video devoted to helping a man named Richard tick off his bucket list, not only pulls at your heartstrings. It also raises awareness of charities close to Louis and Richard’s heart.
Alzheimer’s Society-, which provides information and support, funds research and helps to create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice- a local charity based in Yorkshire that cares for children and young people with terminal and life-limiting illnesses, they help to create special memories for families. Louis has been a supporter of this charity for many years.
Cancer Research UK– pioneers life-saving research to help there become a day when all cancers are cured.
It’s one that deserves many many presses of the repeat button.
Just Hold On
Just Hold On is the song that launched Louis’s solo career. While it’s ultimately not the type of music he’s chosen to make, instead following his heart and making more indie tune. Just Hold On will always have a special place in our hearts as it gave us a taste of Louis a solo lyricist.
Look After You ( Fray cover)
Louis filmed this pre X Factor. We just had to include it. So sit back and enjoy Louis Tomlinson aged 16, covering Look After You by The Fray. The instrumental and production on the track were done by Geoff Hewitt, who was in the band The Rogue with Louis while they were both at school.
