Rappers Rarri and Lil Xan bring the heat on their latest music video, “OMG It’s Rarri,” a stellar banger.
Rarri made big waves when he released his first song, “Bozoo,” collaborating with mega-star 6ix9ine, amassing more than 22-million views on YouTube, along with millions of streams across all platforms. An international hit, “Bozoo” established Rarri as a luminary on the hip-hop map.
Based in Los Angeles, Rarri’s melodic hooks attracted vast media attention and hit home with legions of fans. Since generating beaucoup buzz on “Bozoo” with 6ix9ine, he’s been working with other hip-hop luminaries, such as Soulja Boy, who featured Rarri on “Jeopardy.” He followed by focusing on his own original music, releasing the music video for “Choppa,” a track from his forthcoming album, at the end of February 2020. “Choppa” accumulated over 100,000 views almost overnight, establishing his bona fides as a skilled rapper ready to ascend to the top of the hip-hop mountain.
On “OMG It’s Rarri,” he teams up with Lil Xan, who hails from Redlands, California, renowned for his joint, “Betrayed,” which maxed out on Billboard’s Hot 100 at number 64. “Betrayed” went on to receive platinum certification by the RIAA.
Marvelously produced by Stoopid Lou, mixed by Farias, and directed by Off.ghani, the music video for “OMG It’s Rarri” depicts the two rappers hanging with their crew, pulling out wads of cash from a Gucci bag, walking through the neighborhood, and partying in the backyard. The visuals display energy, cool rolling dance moves, and suave style.
“OMG It’s Rarri” opens on shimmering colors, followed by the finessed rapping flow of Rarri, whose tight delivery injects the lyrics with polished inflections and skintight coloration. Lil Xan’s smooth raspy flow adds delicious contrasting timbres, infusing the rhymes with sonic hues complementing Rarri’s silky flow. The juxtaposition of two celebrity voices gives the tune seductive authenticity.
On “OMG It’s Rarri,” Rarri pushes out smart rhymes riding a hefty trap beat topped by trickling, sparkling harmonics, as the two rappers fire it up.
