Prince Harry has been told it is his “royal duty” to marry Cheryl.
They royal was attending the BT Sport Industry Awards in London last night along with a host of other stars, and host Mark Durden-Smith couldn’t resit joking around with the Prince.
During the event Mark joked to the 1,700 strong audience that Prince Harry and tennis ace Tim Henman were both prime son-in-law materiel.
Harry and Tim were at the event to jointly present an outstanding contribution award to the Murray family.
Continuing his ongoing banter about Cheryl and Prince Harry getting together, Durden-Smith said: “I know you take your royal duties very seriously Harry and I think one of the duties that the nation would like you to perform is to marry Cheryl Fernandez-Versini”
Durden-Smith continued; “It’s what the nation wants Harry give it some thought”.
The Prince seemed to take the jokes in his usual laid back way, as he jokingly raised an eyebrow as he mused the host’s suggestion.
Although Prince Harry is currently single, Cheryl is dating One Direction hunk Liam Payne. But our Chezza has admitted to having a crush on the Prince in the past.
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show alongside Katy Perry back in 2012, the two singers openly talked about their crush on Harry.
