Spreading self-love, self-confidence, and self-belief is Princess Wonda with her incredible track “My Body”. The song is an inspired fusion between Afrobeats and mainstream soul and R&B which creates a beat like no other. This is the follow-up to her awesome single “Lala Le” which featured MYSTR D.

Princess Wonda is a UK-born, London-based, Nigerian singer-songwriter, vocalist, and entertainer. For the last 15 years, she has worked as a backing vocalist and a session singer, but it’s time for the limelight to be on her. She released her debut album in 2021, titled “Fantasy Fair”, which saw her collaborate with Congolese legend Awilo Longomba as well as 1da Banton. She has charted on the UK iTunes chart and in a variety of genre charts, toured in Texas, USA, headlined Afro Summer Jam in Zurich, Switzerland in 2022, sold out her 2022 headline show at Omeara London, and toured across Nigeria and Ghana. She has hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams with “Lala Le” featuring MYSTR D being her most-streamed track on the platform. Her rising following and her passion for spreading Afrobeats to the world are putting her on the right track to becoming a huge star in the music industry, and let’s not forget her incredible voice too – she has star power and we’re excited to watch the next steps she takes in her career.

Written by Princess Wonda, whilst it has been produced by Mr. Marz, “My Body” is a rhythmic Afrobeats track that takes an R&B melodic essence and adds it to this awesome singer-songwriter’s soulful vocals. Passion full with self-love and self-confidence, Princess Wonda doesn’t shy away lyrically while the backing track is rhythmic R&B as the beats only emphasise her vocals. “My Body” is a solid Afrobeats track that undeniably puts Princess Wonda in the limelight.

Talking about the track, Princess Wonda said: “All our bodies change as we age; whether we look better or worse in our minds, it is something everyone experiences. As an artist, I have faced scrutiny from the public, and I’ve been subjected to their view on how I should present myself. I know image is a big part of showbiz, and I always want to feel like the best version of myself. This song is an extension of that and something for everyone to enjoy; it is a love song for my fans, who I want to love living in the body they have. Confidence is something you learn; I wanted my song to be a lesson.”
