Ahead of his performance at tomorrow’s Olympics Team GB homecoming in Manchester – alongside Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne – Rag’n’Bone Man shares his latest single ‘Rush of Blood’.
Serving as the second single to be released from the singers forthcoming third studio album, ‘What Do You Believe In?’, the contemporary pop track sees Rory push his creative boundaries, blending elements of uptempo 70’s inspired soul with lush melodies to produce the ultimate anthem for summer 2024!
Reflecting on the creation of the song, the ‘Human’ singer shares: “I wrote that chorus by accident. It was the end of the day, everyone was tired, so we decided to experiment for an hour or two. I mentioned a 70s soul/funk reference but wanted it to feel like euphoria and escapism.”

Written in collaboration with David Sneddon, long-term creative partners Mark Crew and Dan Priddy, and legendary mixer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent – known for his work with both Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles – ‘Rush of Blood’ arrives as anticipation builds for the impending release of Rag’n’Bone Man’s third studio album ‘What Do You Believe In?’ which is set to drop Friday, October 18th 2024.
Described as being a record that speaks to the singers roots, tracks are heavily dipped in hip hop, soul and blues influences – a musical experience fans can expect to be thrilled by.

Collaborating with a flurry of renowned writers and producers between Brighton, London, New York and LA, Rag’n’Bone Man has crafted a record that promises to touch and brighten the hearts and souls of his fans.
Commenting on the album, the BRIT Award winner says: “It’s a representation of how I feel in this moment, at this time in my life – it represents joy, love and happiness. You’ve got to take people on a bit of a journey – It’s basically real life” he asserts. “Songwriting is always an extension of my emotions.”
