Rai-Elle, the 17-year-old X Factor quarter finalist, rose to fame as she stole the hearts of viewers during last year’s season. The songstress promised it wouldn’t be the last we saw of her as she exited the show and she wasn’t lying as the R&B rising star is back with her debut single ‘KSB (Always On My Mind)’.
Rai-Elle has always been one for the spotlight despite her young age. Previous to her taking the plunge and auditioning for X Factor she took part in CBBC’s ‘Got What It Takes?’ in a bid to showcase her vocal talent.
The debut track was teased over on Rai-Elle’s Twitter during the last week after it was announced on Tuesday, August 14 that she had signed a record deal with independent London label ‘MOVES’.

With the signing, Rai-Elle becomes the first female to enter the label’s focused 6 artist roster as she prepares to launch her solo career standing on her own two feet.
The impressive track has an element of youth and maturity as her vocals excel over the catchy relaxed beat providing a chilled summer vibe. The song is seemingly dedicated to someone who’s “Kinda, sorta, basically, pretty much, always on her mind” as she praises a significant other, opening up about a special connection and how it makes her feel.
The song has been released at the perfect time as the song can hopefully rise the charts and capitalise on the re-ignition of the demand for radio friendly R&B music following in the footsteps of Ella Mai’s recent hit ‘Boo’d Up”.
‘KSB (Always On My Mind)’ is now available across all streaming platforms and we look forward to see what the future holds for her as a promising young talent.
