Rak-Su have been unveiled as the winners of this year’s ‘The X Factor’ – and their win is extremely well deserved!

On Sunday’s Live Final, the four piece – made up of members Myles, Ashley, Jamal and Mustafa – performed two of their original songs.

Throughout the series, Rak-Su have repeatedly impressed with their phenomenal performances week after week. They’ve been incredibly consistent, often delivering chart-topping original tracks which will no doubt pave the way for future contestants on the show.

The band have made X Factor history by becoming the first boyband to win the show. They’re also only the second group to win, following in the footsteps of the extremely talented Little Mix, who performed on Sunday’s Final.

Right from their first audition, the boys’ personalities won viewers over, and it’s safe to say that we have all fallen in love with them!

Grace Davies, who was mentored by Sharon Osborne, finished in second place. Similar to Rak-Su, she also wrote her own tracks and performed them on the show, and showcased a selection of them at the Final. As was aptly stated by Judge Simon Cowell, these two acts have truly set a precedent for future contestants. The fact that both contestants chose to sing originals throughout most of the competition represents a huge turning point in the show’s history.

Rak-Su’s winning single is the duet that they performed with Naughty Boy and Wyclef Jean. All profits from the single will be split across two charities. You can watch their performance below:

Rak-Su – along with several other contestants from this series – will be embarking on ‘The X Factor Live Tour’ around the UK and Ireland throughout February and March 2018.
