This week in 2018 has really given us a lot of great new music, and here is another one for you. Rayvon Owen has released “Gold” and it really is filled with so much soul. This song follows up his recently released single “Volume“.
It’s another upbeat track that is filled with love. Rayvon Owen came fourth in the 14th season of American Idol and later came out as gay in his debut powerful music video “Can’t Fight It”. Which has led him on an amazing musical career, that is just getting better and better; “Gold” is certainly a testament to that.
Listen To Rayvon Owen’s New Track “Gold” Here:
The song is about falling in love and was written by Rayvon Owen and Nate Merchant, who he also worked with on “Can’t Fight It”; which totally explains the gorgeous lyrics and heart-melting words.
Talking to Billboard about “Gold”, Rayvon Owen revealed: “I just wanted to say, ‘Hey, you got me feeling good as gold.’ What better feeling do you have? Falling in love is such a beautiful thing. I love singing about love in general — the good and the bad — I write sad songs too, which will be on the future project too.”
He has confirmed that the future project will be something a bit longer than his previous EPs, although whether that means a full-length album is on its way is something no one knows quite yet, not even Rayvon Owen himself. Yet, just imagine a Rayvon Owen album… We’re in love with that thought already! We bet 2018 is going to be good to him in every way.
