Red Velvet’s very own Wendy has just released her new duet Written in the Stars featuring the Grammy award winning megastar John Legend.
Written in the Stars is a sweet love song with the pair singing of true love conquering all and finding its way to those who it’s destined for. The acoustics set the tone for the perfect love story and carried by Wendy and John’s vocals, mesh into the stunning track.
The music video directed by the incredibly talented David Choi combined with the creative direction from Sing J Lee compliments the atmosphere of the track, with the Southern California dusk setting the vibe for the love song’s lyrics.
The collaboration was released as part of Red Velvet’s label SM Entertainment’s digital music platform STATION in collaboration with SKT’s project O(YOUNG). The duet has become the most ambitious and biggest release to for ‘Station x 0’ date. Discussing the collaboration Wendy stated that “I have been such a fan of John’s work for a long time, so to collaborate with him on this project was a dream…Everything John does, he approaches with excellence.”
