If you’ve got a love for pop music and appreciate talent, Four of Diamonds are certainly a name you should get to know if you don’t already.
Last week the former X-Factor foursome, who happens to be the first girl group signed to Virgin EMI since the Spice Girls, was on top form as they continued to prove they’ve got the dynamics to go global.
Since their previous headline show in November, they’ve been working hard and putting on show-stopping performances across various pride stages, in arenas on Rita Ora’s Pheonix tour and at festivals such as BST Hyde Park, which has led to their confidence, vocals and choreography being elevated to a new level.
Playing their biggest headline show to date at London Borderline, Caroline, Lauren, Sophia and Yasmin brought all the sass as they made a clear statement that they’re a force to be reckoned with showcasing their innate vocal ability, versatility and undeniable star quality.
Kicking off with their hit single ‘Stupid Things’, straight out the bat the girls emanated a substantial and infectious electric confidence which took over the entire room as they came out strong and only continued to get better as the night proceeded.
In addition to performing their string of successful releases, Four of Diamonds teased some of their upcoming material with their bright, Jonas Blue produced, summer smash ‘Writer’ and personal favourite ‘Sick and Tired’, which intertwines their vibrant pop vocals over a trap laced instrumental creating the ultimate glow up, self worth anthem.
Amidst all of their original material, the girls also inserted two, very challenging but well-executed, covers as they brought a laid back energy with a refreshing take on The 1975’s ‘Somebody Else’, as well as storming through a harmony led version of Dua Lipa’s 2018 phenomenon ‘Electricity’.
The set boasted a stream of attention-grabbing R and B-edged pop tracks with glimmering melodies and catchy choruses you can’t help but sing along to. The fiery foursome brought everything they needed to and more from slick vocals and tight harmonies to striking dance routines leaving no doubt as to why they’re set to achieve big things.
Ending the night with a bang the foursome stunned with a punchy performance of their brand new single ‘Walk Away’ as they left the stage full of smiles and left the crowd full of satisfaction.
Four of Diamonds are performing at a string of shows across the festival season and are part of the incredible lineup for Manchester Pride so be sure to check them out.
Their latest single ‘Walk Away’ is available across all major streaming platforms now.
