The atmosphere in Belfast’s SSE Arena was truly indescribable. First to take to the stage was Kevin Davy-White, who finished in third place on the show. His performance of ‘A Whole Lotta Love’ was electric!
Becca Dudley presented the show, chatting to the acts backstage before they appeared on stage, and talking to members of the audience throughout the evening. She introduced Grace Davies to the stage, whereby she performed original track ‘Roots,’ an extremely powerful performance. Everyone in the arena was taken aback by the incredible rawness of the track.
Grace was joined by Shereen from The Cutkelvins for ‘Show Me Love.’ Midway through the performance, the remaining members – Jay and Kyle – joined Shereen on stage. The energy they brought was phenomenal.
Performances followed by Matt Linnen and Lloyd Macey. In particular, Lloyd’s version of ‘Fix You’ is extremely emotional and captivating. The track really showcases his beautiful vocals.
Irish duo Sean and Conor Price were next to take to the stage. It goes without saying that they received an incredible response, especially with an Irish crowd, with their performance of ‘Strong’ and ‘Issues.’
Grace then took to the stage again, with Matt following on from her. Lloyd then performed ‘Lay Me Down’ – another emotional performance! Kevin, Lloyd and Matt then performed ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ – there are no words to describe how incredible it was!
Kevin and The Cutkelvins went on to perform hits from their time on the show.
Then, it was time for Rak-Su to take to the stage! They took it back to the song performed in their first audition, ‘I’m Feeling You,’ which had everyone singing and dancing along!
A group ensemble of Little Mix and CNCO hit ‘Reggaetón Lento’ was then performed.
Following a short interval, the second half got underway, with Grace starting it off with her version of ‘Life On Mars.’ She went on to perform ‘Live And Let Die’ with Kevin, and their vocals together were powerful.
Lloyd then took to the stage, with his version of ‘City Of Stars,’ followed by Sean and Conor, where they performed their audition song ‘Along The Watchtower.’ As they performed ‘Mona Lisa,’ they were joined by Rak-Su – what an incredible collaboration! The talented four-piece, who won the show, went on to perform ‘Touche.’
The Cutkelvins then performed ‘What About Us,’ which again got the crowd going. Matt went on to perform ‘Scars To Your Beautiful,’ with Lloyd performing after followed by Kevin, who performed ‘Come Together.’
Another moving performance from Grace ensued, with ‘Too Young.’ which was one of her most popular performances on the show!
Rak-Su wrapped up, with performances of ‘Flowers’ and ‘Dimelo,’ which were no doubt extremely well received by the audience.
Then it was time for the audience to vote for their winner of the evening, which was worked out by a decibel meter reading. Sean and Conor won the vote, and they kicked off the final group performance of ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling.’
Overall, the tour was absolutely incredible – from the choreography to the performances to the production. All the contestants are incredibly talented and they all, individually and as a group, put on phenomenal performances.
