Rising British singer-songwriter Rosa shares her feelings of vulnerability and fear this week, with the release of her brand new single ‘Tunnels’.
Co-written by Rosa along with Neil Athale and Gita Langley (Gabrielle Aplin), and produced by Ben Matravers (Easy Life, Josie Proto), the beautifully tender, stripped back ballad sees the singers exquisite vocal take centre stage, as she effortlessly delivers the tracks deeply personal lyrics set against a back drop of delicate piano chord sequences and arpeggios.
Discussing the theme and message behind the track, Rosa says: “‘Tunnels’ describes a long and difficult journey trying to find light and positivity, which can feel like you are digging endless tunnels. It tries to communicate the weight and impact negative thoughts can have on us, which can be really hard to describe and articulate. This sometimes feels really isolating as not all struggles are obvious and loud on the outside but are deep rooted and silent. This lonely feeling is something many experience but finding the words to say what we are feeling can be the first step.”
