Sabrina Washington is back with two solo singles

Sabrina Washington the leader singer of Britain’s most successful urban girl group, Mis-Teeq is back with two amazing new solo singles “My Life and “Gone.”

It’s now been twenty years since Mis-Teeq shot to fame, with their sassy bops, such as “Why?”, “All I Want” and their biggest hit of all “Scandalous”.
Their six-year chart reign saw them have 7 UK Top 10 singles and 3 Top 10 multi-platinum albums, selling in excess of 10 million records worldwide, in addition to 4 BRIT nominations and two MOBO wins.
In the US, they had 2 Top 5 hits and a Top 5 album on the Billboard Charts, along with a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award for Best R&B/Soul Album.
After some time out of the spotlight, Sabrina has made her long-awaited return to the public eye.
Last week Sabrina announced her return to music on Dan Wootton’s radio show on talkRADIO and tomorrow will be releasing two new solo singles, “My Life” which was premiered on Radio 1Xtra by DJ Ace and “Gone”, which reveals what happened to Sabrina after the group’s shocking and unexpected split.
“After spending years touring the world, recording and performing, I needed to take some time out of the spotlight. I was very young and needed some downtime from all the madness.”- Sabrina on taking a break from the music industry

Both tracks showcase her distinctive, honeyed vocals which had us dancing through the millennium, in a completely different light.
