He made a huge impression a few years ago when he dropped a full-set video on 2SeaSession in Bahrain. He was part of the 12th session and his set included original tracks such as “The Rose” and “Atlas”, as well as covers of Robert Miles’ “Children” and Massive Attack’s “Paradise Circus”.

The album starts off with “Mono” which is a sonically progressive track that turns into an addictive rhythm that is both impressive and awe-inspiring. The track soon quickens before slowing completely down to showcase acoustic guitar finger-picking and heightened strumming giving a tropical airy effect. “The Beginning” follows next which sees Scott Booth add some backing vocals whilst bringing an oceanic melody and unstoppable rhythmic beat. The third track is “Battleground”, a collaboration with christiancooleyuk, which has emotional male vocals that wrap around the upbeat oceanic vibes of the backing track. This is followed by a collaboration with Cherryshoes, titled “The River”, which sees the album take on a more prominent acoustic guitar typical sound, keeping it deep and strong, whilst remixing the rhythm into an ethereal club sound that truly allows Scott Booth to shine. The fifth track on the “Atavistic” album is “Migrations”, which sees Scott Booth take us through a warped sense of reality with incredible artistic sounds that are clearly inspired by his Celtic roots, giving an air of ancestral sound.
“Vaulted Sky” is the sixth track on his debut album and what an impressive track as Scott Booth showcases the diverse capabilities of the acoustic guitar and the sounds he can create from it, bringing a relaxing rhythmic vibe perfect for the summer beach days we’ve all got coming up soon. The seventh track is “Plein De Luminer”, which is an atmospheric track that has strong French vocals running over it with a sonic fluidity of sound that clearly has a rich cultural influence. That is followed by “Vultures”, a track that really brings old with new, taking ancient sound concepts and mixing them into an organic subtle electronic arrangement that is deeply groovy. This track sounds like something Daft Punk would’ve released back in the day. “The End” is next, which is one of his previously released singles, and it’s an upbeat rhythmic dance instrumental that is artistically complex and one track we would love to see Scott Booth perform live on stage – we imagine the crowd loves this track during his sets. He ends this album with the track “Carnival”, which is clearly influenced by European culture sounds but Scott Booth transforms his rhythmic style creating a strong entrancing melody that takes on a form of its own halfway through as he brings a circus and carnival atmosphere to the track, easily impressing to no end – it’s hard to think this track is coming from an acoustic guitar.
