SDCC 2018: Nickelodeon reveals ‘Invader ZIM: Enter the Florpus’ Exclusive Teaser

Invader ZIM is officially back!

During their panel on Friday, July 20 at San Diego Comic-Con, fans were given an exclusive first look at the upcoming TV movie INVADER ZIM: Enter the Florpus. The panel featured the original team back together: series creator, Jhonen Vazquez; Richard Horvitz, ZIM; Rikki Simons, GIR; Wally Wingert, Almighty Tallest Red; and Kevin McDonald, Almighty Tallest Purple. Also on the panel was the TV movie’s art director, Jenny Goldberg.

“It’s exciting to give fans an early sneak peek of the movie and I hope they enjoy it,” says Vasquez.

According to Nickelodeon’s press release, we will find ZIM struggling to come to terms he’s not used to:

ZIM discovers his almighty leaders have no intention of coming to Earth and he loses confidence in his own amazingness for the first time in his amazing life, which is the big break his human nemesis Dib has been waiting for. At some point, GIR rides a tiny donkey, and that’s all anyone should really care about.

INVADER ZIM made its Nickelodeon debut in 2001 and went off-air in 2006. It ran for 2 seasons.
