Surprise! The first ever teaser trailer for Sony’s Marvel film Venom was released to the internet in the wee early hours this morning. We finally get to see Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock as well as a glimpse of Michelle Williams who was confirmed to play Brock’s wife, Anne Weying.

Not much is know about Venom’s plot, but reports indicate it could take on the popular Lethal Protector storyline from the comics. That narrative pits Venom against the Life Foundation, a group that pushes the Venom symbiote to spawn several more variations.
The film is set to release on October 5, 2018. It seems so far away but it’ll be here sooner than you know it!
