Selena Gomez gets candid in the latest issue of Flare magazine. The brunette beauty dished about her past love life and admitted that she’s back on the dating scene after her highly publicized split from Justin Bieber.
The “Good For You” songstress revealed to the mag that she would never consider using dating apps like Tinder to find the right man.
“I would never go on Tinder!” Gomez said. “I think it would scare me. I go on dates. It’s not that difficult – I’m a nice young lady – but that’s not my focus.”
However, she also revealed that she’s not too focused on finding someone just yet. The artist has been very busy lately with the release of her album, “Revival,” which is out October 9.
The singer spoke about her inspiration behind the new album, hinting that her ex, Bieber, may have influenced the new record.
“I’ve felt so much in the past two years, from being super in love and then dealing with things to getting older and all these beautiful experiences that were complicated and exciting. That’s what I wanted the record to feel like,” she told the November issue of the magazine.
The “Same Old Love” hitmaker also added that she’s still “figuring” stuff out in her young life and opened up about the many changes she’s experienced being in the public eye 24/7.
“This has been a transitional season for me, personally and in my career. I had multiple revelations and big accomplishments in my life,” Gomez said, adding, “I’m young: I’ve lived my life in the public eye, and I’ve had to figure out how to do that. Ultimately, I am 23 and figuring out my life. I feel confident, I feel empowered, I feel in control.”
