‘Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me’ will make you shed tears. Selena Gomez is always very open about her health. She does not get shy and tells people the same. She is such a true inspiration for today’s generation.

This time we got a different and vulnerable side of Selena Gomez. The 30-year-old star opens up about both her triumphs and her mental health struggles in the new documentary ‘Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me,’ the trailer for which debuted on Monday.

Selena is saying in the clip, “Be who you are, Selena. No one cares about what you’re doing. It’s about who I am. Being OK with where I am. I am grateful to be alive.” She continues, “Let me make a promise. I am going to stop living like this. How do I learn how to breathe my own breath again?”

The trailer which features a new song that Gomez teased is “coming soon” shows the actress at different stages of her life, from childhood home videos and performance clips to her deeply personal footage in the hospital. This is truly emotional. At one point, a makeup-free Gomez cries to a friend, “My whole life, since I was a kid, I’ve been working. And I don’t want to be like, super famous. But I do know that if I’m here, I have to use that for good.”

She later expresses her insecurities, telling a partner that she fears she is “not good enough”, an anxiety that she is growing up with.

The trailer features footage of her recording in the studio, traveling and stopping at an old school friend’s house, who introduces Gomez to her excited young daughter. She says, “What makes me happy is connection. And it helps me get out of my head.”

Selena has been open about her bipolar disorder diagnosis. She has also explained why she became a mental health advocate. She sad that because of her experiences in life, she feels ready to pass on what she’s learned to others.

She shared the full trailer of her documentary on Instagram. She wrote, “Every breath, a breakthrough. In honor of #WorldMentalHealthDay I wanted to share the trailer for my documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. November 4 on @AppleTVPlus.”

‘Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me’ will be streaming Apple+ on Nov. 4. We are ready with tissue papers. Are you? Which part of the trailer got you the most? Hit us up @CelebMix.
