Selena Gomez is the star of new movie The Fundamentals of Caring alongside former F.R.I.E.N.D.S actor Paul Rudd.
The new drama sees Paul play retired writer Ben who becomes a reluctant caregiver and then has to take his first-ever client , 18-year-old Trevor (Craig Roberts) who has muscular dystrophy on a road trip.
The pair decide to embark on their road trip to find the “lamest roadside attractions,” but while on their trip, Trevor finds a new goal and a new friend in Dot who is played by the former Disney star Selena Gomez.
The Fundamentals of Caring was snapped up by Netflix who now own the streaming video on demand rights of the film after it premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
The movie was written and directed by Rob Burnett and is based on the 2013 novel ‘The Revised Fundamentals of Caring’.
