A big screen adaptation of Marvel’s Deadpool comics may not make it to the big screens until next year, but a sequel is definitely in discussion. Writer and Producer Simon Kinberg, said that a second Deadpool movie was definitely being talked about.
For those who don’t know, Deadpool is a product of Marvel which is owned by Fox. The movie is to be based on the original comic book, about an antihero who is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor. It’s well known for having a dark and derisive tone and that’s the same approach Kinberg would like to use for its film adaptation.
The up and coming film stars Ryan Reynolds, who portrayed the character of Deadpool in the 2009 film X-men Origins: Wolverine, T.J Miller, and Morena Baccarin and the film is set to release and arrive in theaters sometime in 2016.
