Country-pop crossover sensation Shania Twain has admitted she is missing her two pet dogs as she is away recording new music.
The fierce animal lover has tweeted saying that she is missing her two dogs and she hopes they will like her new album.
The 50-year-old singer tweeted: “Spending too much time away from these guys at the moment. Hope they like the album at the end of it all!” (sic).
The legend of country music also shared an adorable snap of her pooches:
Shania’s love of animals is no secret, in her 2012 autobiography ‘From This Moment On’ she even admitted that if she wasn’t a singer she probably would have been a vet.
Although the pretty Canadian is missing being with her beloved pets on a daily basis we think they will much appreciate her new album when it gets released.
Despite being the biggest selling female country artist of all time (Twain has sold over 85 million records worldwide) the latest LP from the star will only be her fifth studio album and her first since 2002.
Fans have waited a long time to have new music from Shania Twain, it has been 14 long years since her ‘Up!’ LP and fans haven’t had a new single since she released ‘Today Is Your Day’ back in 2011.
But the wait is nearly over as the crossover sensation is due to release new music later this year, as the singer plans to release new materiel before she turns 51 in August.
The latest album from Shania Twain will be produced by Matthew Koma.
