Canadian country-pop crossover sensation Shania Twain has been left very impressed by the NHL team Dallas Stars’ music taste.
The ice-hockey team famously listened to Shania’s huge hit ‘You’re Still The One’ before and after Game 4, the guys even refused to take part in media interviews after the game until they had finished jamming to Twain’s music.
Their taste in music clearly helped boost their moral as they scored an overtime victory to win the game.
Shania Twain was clearly impressed with the teams music choice for their dressing room playlist, the singer tweeted: “Heard @dallasstars have amazing taste in pre game music. Must have helped them to the win?! Incredible game guys!” (sic).
Dallas Stars captain and Fellow Canadian Jamie Benn responded to Shania’s message, saying: “we only listen to the best! #playoffpumpupmusic” (sic).
Twain responded to Benn’s sweet message by voting for him to be on the cover of NHL 17.
The 50-year-old singer/songwriter is currently hard at work in the recording studio working on her fifth studio album and follow up to her 2002 diamond certified LP ‘Up!’.
New music is expected from Shania Twain before she turns 51 this August.
