This song comes from a long awaited release of new Shawn Mendes music – his most recent album being released over a year ago.
Shawn took to Twitter earlier today to thank his fans, saying: “Also can’t believe the reaction to Treat You Better. It was scary following up Stitches and I’m so so happy to know you guys love it.” Well of course we love it Shawn!

This does imply that Shawn feared that ‘Treat You Better’ would be over-shadowed by Stitches, which is still taking the charts by storm, but we think that’s far from the case! Just to prove so, ‘Treat You Better’ shot straight to #1 in the iTunes Top Songs chart just hours after it’s release
Many fans are hoping that he will perform ‘Treat You Better’ live at the Shawn Mendes World Tour in July. Also fans hope to hear it at his recently announced shows in Australia and the Philippines later on this year.
We are beyond excited to hear more from this new album which he constantly teases us about.
