Irish singer-songwriter Siva Kaneswaran has unveiled his debut single, ‘Breathe In’.
Having spend the past three years working on his solo material, Siva – known for being one fifth of boyband sensation The Wanted – is finally ready to show the world what he’s been working on, and it doesn’t disappoint.
‘Breathe In’ is a dreamy pop offering which combines delicate piano with a serene yet soaring earworm chorus. “I know this dream is bigger than me”, Siva sings over the calming melody, creating a track which is bound to resonate with his loyal fans and new listeners.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Siva said: “‘Breathe In’ comes from my life experiences. As an artist, I wanted to share how I heal from anxiety and fears. Personally, I focused on the breath because I believe it’s the direct path to the soul, and deep conscious breathing is one of the most powerful keys to unlocking your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.”

Having spent time in intensive writing sessions in both Sweden and LA, Siva has been perfecting his solo material and working hard towards creating his very own signature sound. ‘Breathe In’ looks set to be just the beginning for the singer-songwriter, with plenty more music to come in the near future.
