We’ve had quite the week of new releases, but we’ve got one more that we think you should totally check out. It’s a collaboration between SLANDER and Bret James, titled “Slow Motion”, and we can’t get enough of the track at the moment. It follows up SLANDER’s “I Can’t Escape (feat. Feli Ferraro)” and Bret James’ “Fresh”.
SLANDER are a duo from Los Angeles consisting of Derek Anderson and Scott Land, they’ve had amazing success to date, especially their collaboration with NGHTMRE titled “GUD VIBRATIONS”, which has hit over 14,000,000 Spotify streams – which is incredible. They made their debut in 2014 when they remixed Showtek’s “We Like To Party”. Most recently, they sold out their Miami Music Week’s Gud Vibrations Boat Party in less than three minutes. This production duo sure are making waves in the music industry and it’s going to be a Tsunami when they hit.
As for Bret James, he is also from Los Angeles and is a long time friend of SLANDER as they met at music school. He is a part of a collective called The13th Grade alongside SLANDER, NGHTMRE, J-Louis, Zacari, and a whole range of others. He’s released two previous tracks titled “Thank You” and “Fresh” and he has also appeared on a NGHTMRE track titled “The Killer” with RNSOM which is his most streamed song on Spotify with over a million plays. He is developing relationships in the music industry, gaining fans, and building up his contacts; he’s definitely working on becoming the future star we know he will become.
This brand new collaboration shows exactly why SLANDER is one production duo we all need to keep on our radar. Both SLANDER & Bret James performed this track on stage at EDC Las Vegas’ kineticFIELD main stage on May 20, 2018.
