Snoop Dogg Teams Up With Martha Stewart On VH1

When Martha Stewart announced that she would be teaming up with Snoop Dogg for a new television series called, “Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party,” it’s fair to say that everyone was rather confused. But now that the dust has settled and we have all had time to process the news… Wait, nope. We’re still really confused.

The unlikely duo are pairing up to host the show which will see them inviting some of their famous friends over for a joint dinner party. The series will span ten episodes and each week, the surprise celebrity guests will be exchanging conversation and cocktails over a nice cooked meal. What could possibly go wrong?!

In a recent press release, Martha explained how she hoped that the blended concept of the show would appeal to wider audiences. She said, “we will exemplify America’s fascination with good entertainment and celebrity.”

Then Snoop added, “Martha and I have a special bond that goes way back and [in the show] we’re going to be cooking, drinking, and having a good time. We can’t wait for you to see how we roll together.”

In the past, the pair have done numerous television appearances together but this series will be their first actual collaboration and it’s sure to be a great one. We mean, who can forget how they baked holiday brownies on Martha’s chat show? Or how they teamed up to mock Justin Bieber for his Roast on Comedy Central?

The show is set to air on VH1 in the fall, with an exact date still to be announced.

    We can’t wait!

Are you going to be watching, “Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party,” or do you think that it would be better if they just stuck to roasting other celebrities every now and then? Tweet us what you think at @CelebMix!
