Sofia Carson has released a new single in collaboration with R3hab, titled “Rumors.” Carson, who is best known for playing the role of “Evie” in Disney’s Descendants, provides vocals for the track, while R3hab produced it.
“Rumors” is released by Hollywood Records, which also released Carson’s previous singles, “Ins and Outs,” “Love is the Name” and “Back to Beautiful.”
Carson’s latest track, “Rumors,” is about a guy who is known for being a player. The song takes a turn when the singer confesses to being a player too. “Don’t you know the rumors? They talk about, talk about you, boy. They say that you never gonna treat me right,” Carson sings. “Don’t you know the rumors? They talk about, talk about me too, boy. I know that your intentions are as bad as mine.”
The Disney star says the song “flips the old-fashioned “fairytale” on its head, cause (guess what) girls can play the game just the same as guys, and we can win.”
Along with the track, Sofia Carson and R3hab also released a vertical video for “Rumors,” which you can watch on Spotify. The song is also featured on the streaming service’s “New Music Friday” playlist.
