Sofia Carson Drops Music Video For “Back To Beautiful” Featuring Alan Walker

It has been a long six-day wait for the release of Sofia Carson’s new music video; after she released a teaser video. Yet, it was so worth the wait as “Back To Beautiful” is one of our favourite new music videos.

The song itself was released on 27 January, and was written by Julia Michaels, Mikkel Eriksen, Tor Hermansen, Justin Tranter, Anders Frøen, Jesper Borgen, Gunnar Greve, and Alan Olav Walker. It is the follow up to her second single “Love Is The Name”.

She confirmed that she is working on an album, and that plenty of new music will be coming our way. This is clearly only the beginning. We are hoping that promotional single “I’m Gonna Love You“, is a part of the said album, as well.

The music video was directed by Emil Nava, and definitely proves that Sofia Carson is the next big thing.

The opening scenes are quite serene as she walks out on the stage; as she walks down the stairs and takes a seat in front of a glass, a candle, and a teapot; as she stands in the spotlight. It’s clearly a highly emotional track.

The beat kicks in with the chorus and Sofia Carson smashes it like she always does. Using her amazing acting skills to effortlessly get across the meaning of the song’s verses; she frees herself and loosens up for the catchy chorus.

Pieced together beautifully. Sofia Carson is totally the next big female solo singer. This music video doesn’t just showcase the song, but it proves her ability to sing, dance, and act. Check her out and follow her before everyone else does.

Don’t forget that “Back To Beautiful” is available to download and stream right now. Sofia Carson is set reprise her role in the Disney film Descendants 2, where she plays Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen.
