Northern singer-songwriter Sonny is back with a brand new single called ‘Let Love’.
Penned by Sonny himself, ‘Let Love’ is a poignant ballad which was inspired by a candid conversation with his mother about love and relationships.
Accompanied by a stripped-back production made up of a gentle guitar melody and gospel harmonies, the singer-songwriter’s stunning vocal once again takes centre stage on his latest captivating release.
This truly heightens the emotion of ‘Let Love’, allowing anyone who’s experienced the trials and tribulations of love to resonate with the song.
Speaking about his latest release, Sonny said: “‘Let Love’ came from a time where my love life was all over the place and I craved a relationship and having someone there, rather than being on my own.
“So, I spoke to my Mam and she said let love come to me rather than going out looking for it. I thought this was such a great piece of advice. The next week I took the idea into a writing session and the song was formed.”

‘Let Love’ has been unveiled ahead of the Sonny’s highly anticipated acoustic EP Beech Road, which is due for release on March 22. The track and previous single ‘Sweet Dreams’ follow on from Sonny’s Hopeless Romance and Northern Nights EPs.
