Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton are set to co-star in the upcoming UK tour of the supernatural thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story.
Dooley will reprise her role as Jenny from her 2024 West End stage debut, while Clifton will join her as Sam, marking their first professional acting collaboration since winning Strictly Come Dancing together in 2018.
Speaking following the news of his casting, Kevin said: “I’m such a huge fan of 2:22 as a play. I have seen it a number of times and I’ve wanted to play Sam for ages! It’s superbly written, clever, funny and thought provoking whilst always maintaining a danger that kept me on the edge of my seat. When Stacey did the West End run, I thought she was brilliant and just wanted to be up there with her. Me and Stace playing a couple with a new baby in a new house could not be more perfect! I’m really excited!”
With Stacey Dooley adding: “I’m thrilled to be slipping back into Jenny’s slippers! Truly. I had such a magic few months with 2:22 last year, I couldn’t be more excited to bring this incredibly clever show on the road! And with my Kev! Total dream, come see us!”
The 2025 UK tour of 2:22 A Ghost Story is scheduled to commence on August 4th at the Manchester Opera House before visiting multiple cities, Bristol, Glasgow, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Malvern, Stoke, Brighton, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Guildford, Southampton, and Peterborough.
Throughout 2026, the tour will stop off in Northampton, Norwich, Richmond, Plymouth, Cardiff, Oxford, Woking, and York.
Dooley and Clifton will appear in Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Malvern, Stoke, Brighton, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Guildford, Southampton, Peterborough, Buxton and Crawley.

Since it’s premiere back 2021, 2:22 A Ghost Story has garnered acclaim for its gripping narrative and has enjoyed successful runs in London’s West End and international productions.
Written by Danny Robins, the story follows Jenny, who is convinced that her house is haunted because she hears strange noises every night at exactly 2:22 AM. Her husband Sam, a skeptical scientist, refuses to believe in ghosts. One evening, they invite their friends Lauren and Ben over for dinner, and the conversation about the paranormal takes a serious turn. As the night progresses, tensions rise, secrets are revealed, and the audience is left questioning what is real and what isn’t—until the shocking final twist.
Over the years, the play has featured several well-known actors, including Lily Allen, Tom Felton, Mandip Gill, Cheryl, Jay McGuiness and Giovanna Fletcher.
