Former X Factor boyband, Stereo Kicks have announced that will no longer be performing together as an 8 piece band.

The boys were put into the band on the show, by judges, Simon, Cheryl, Mel B, and Louis, last year, after they all auditioned individually.

After the show ended, the group, did not get signed to a label, so they self released their own single ‘Love Me So’ in June, which entered the official UK charts at a respectable number 31.

The split has come to a surprise to many of their fans, but the guys released a statement saying:

“We all feel the time has come for us to now continue our journeys individually”.
