The glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing is still in full swing with week 5 being very promising.
This week Helen George and Partner Aljaž Skorjanec flew into first place with their amazing Quickstep.
Judge, Bruno Tonioli was so impressed with Helen and Aljaž’s Quickstep he remarked that the Helen and Aljaž express is on the way to the top!
Kellie Bright and Kevin Clifton’s spy inspired Jive also scored big with the judges, which also resulted in them flying to the top of the leader board along with Helen and Aljaž. Both couples scored an amazing total of 35!
Springing back into full flow was Jay McGuiness and partner Aliona Vilani with their incredibly powerful Pasodoble! They were scored an incredible 33 from the judges! This resulted in them being second place on the leader board. Well done, Jay and Aliona!

Whilst joint seventh place was given to Carol Kirkwood and partner Pasha Kovalev with their promising Viennese Waltz, Katie Derham with her partner Anton Du Beke with their strong Salsa along with Ainsley Harriott and his partner Natalie Lowe who did a very lively Jive. These three couples were scored a 21 .
In last place on the leader board was Jeremy Vine along with partner Karen Clifton, they were seen as to have under performed their Waltz and Bruno said that Jeremy had a “Zombified grin” throughout his performance.
Sunday night’s result show was entertaining as the professionals made a splash with their pro dance!
Sadly, it was time for one of the couples to leave the dance floor, this week the dance off consisted of Jamelia and Tristan and Ainsley and Natalie.
Both couples danced their best in order to fight to keep their place in the competition. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Ainsley Harriott and his incredibly smiley character and partner Natalie Lowe.
