Take That have revealed more details about their musical ‘The Band’.

Take That members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen say they have “laughed, cried and danced in the aisles” whilst watching rehearsals for the musical, which stars the winners of the BBC talent show ‘Let it Shine’.

The series saw boy band ‘Five To Five’ win roles in the show, which is set to tour the UK later in the year.

‘Five To Five’ are made up of Curtis T Johns, AJ Bentley, Yazdan Qafouri, Sario Solomon and Nick Carsberg.

Speaking from rehearsals this week Mark Owen said “we’ve become very proud of the boys.”

“They’re like our little brothers, and I was very proud sat watching them today.”

“They look so professional, so solid together. Such a unit. We were so lucky, we had no idea what we’d find. The band that came out of ‘Let It Shine’ are absolutely incredible.”

Take That leader singer Gary went on to tease more details on what fans can expect from the Take That inspired musical.

“It’s a beautifully written story, and you will see an amazing cast, brilliant acting, brilliant singing, a great band.”

“It’s what theatre is all about.” Gary explains. “Putting something on stage which will take people from laughing to crying, standing up on their feet dancing, singing along, making them feel like they’re 15 again.”

A newly released promo for the show sees Robbie Williams reunite with his former Take That bandmates.

In the black and white clip, Robbie, Gary, Howard and Mark are seen passing over their microphones to the boys in ‘Five to Five’, who then jump into the air recreating the album artwork for Take That’s debut album ‘Take That & Party’.

    Check out the trailer below:

The plot of the show has been kept under wraps… until now.

As it’s been revealed that the Take That boys returned home to Manchester earlier this  month to unveil the show to invited guests, competition winners and their families at a workshop of the musical at a top secret location in the city.
