This single acts as her sophomore release and follows on from her debut single release from earlier this year, titled “Playground”.
Tati Vici, a French-born singer-songwriter, has seamlessly woven her passionate musical journey through the tapestry of her life. From her early days performing with a toy microphone to singing soprano in church with her opera-singer grandmother, music has been her constant companion. Having graced the stages of school plays and musicals, she eventually ventured to the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City to further nurture her talents in singing, acting, and dance. Tati Vici’s determination led her to Los Angeles, where she embraced one-off roles in TV shows, characters in movies, and parts in commercials, including “True Blood”, “Over The Rainbow”, “Balls To The Wall”, “Conan”, and “Tattoo Nightmares”, all while keeping her sights on her true passion – music. The pandemic brought her to Las Vegas, where she immersed herself in her craft, crafting songs that capture the heart and soul. Embracing her mixed French and American heritage, Tati Vici dropped her debut single “Playground”, in May, which is a tantalisingly sensual masterpiece that heralds the arrival of her forthcoming EP. Through her music, Tati Vici embodies a spiritual and free-spirited approach, infusing every lyric and melody with authenticity and soulful expression.
Written by Dan Parker, Richard Coe, Tati Vici, and Zachary Wayne, with Dan Parker producing the track, “Confetti” is a bright cosmic electro-pop song that has an addictive melody that hits the listener right from the start. Tati Vici brings passion and honesty within her gorgeous vocals effortlessly conveying positivity in her words. As the chorus hits, she adds in key vocal runs that send chills to every listener while painting this lovable story of falling for someone. The track was created during lockdown due to the pandemic, and while the track’s lyrics are suggestive of a love story, they can also be interpreted as the world opening up again after COVID-19, with Tati Vici celebrating freedom. The backing track adds to the joyous lyrics with vibrant dance rhythms and heightened beats that bring a nostalgic ’90s pop-dance vibe with a bit of ’00s disco thrown in while wrapped around mainstream pop, which all comes together to sound like something we would hear from Steps or Kylie Minogue.
