After teasing her fans with a series of codes to crack, Taylor Swift has unveiled the full tracklist for Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the re-recording of her 2008 album.
Due for release on April 9, the album will include all 19 tracks from Fearless Platinum Edition, her soundtrack single ‘Today Was a Fairytale’ and six additional songs from the Vault that were scrapped from the original album.
Knowing that her Swifties are the ultimate detectives, Taylor decided to put their skills to the test by sharing a vault door on social media. Behind the door was a series of jumbled words relating to the titles of the songs from the Vault.
Whilst many were left scratching their heads in confusion, it wasn’t long before some of her fans managed to put the pieces together. Amongst the clues, fans excitedly spotted a potential collaboration with Keith Urban.
If you’ve yet to crack Taylor’s codes, fear not as the songstress has now shared the full tracklist on Twitter. As some had already guessed, The Vault songs include a track called ‘That’s When’ featuring Keith Urban, as well as ‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’, ‘We Were Happy’, ‘Don’t You’, ‘Bye Bye Baby’ and the recently released ‘You All Over Me’ featuring Maren Morris.
Speaking about the upcoming Keith Urban collaboration, Taylor tweeted: “I’m really honored that Keith is a part of this project, duetting on That’s When and singing harmonies on We Were Happy. I was his opening act during the Fearless album era and his music has inspired me endlessly.”
She also shared her excitement with regards to sharing the re-recorded album in its entirety, stating: “I’m counting down the minutes til we can all jump into this brave world together, filled with equal parts nostalgia and brand newness. Head first, Fearless.”
Taylor has already shared the re-recorded version of ‘Love Story’, which brought back plenty of nostalgia whilst also showcasing how her vocals have developed over the years. With less than a week to go before the album is released, we couldn’t be more excited to fall in love with Fearless all over again. This also marks the first of six of Taylor’s albums to be re-recorded, after the rights to the records were sold by her former record label.
