The New York party included a number of celebrity guests such as Karlie Kloss, Aziz Ansari, Lena Dunham, Mae Whitman, Rachel Antonoff, and was filled with red and gold balloons, spelling out: “U R 20”.

Before the night was over, Swift presented Lorde with a chocolate cake as her friends all sang “Happy Birthday”.

Following the celebrations, the singer took to social media to thank the party planner.
