EDM duo The Chainsmokers have teamed up with country star Kelsea Ballerini for their latest single ‘This Feeling’.
Written by Drew Taggart, Alex Pall, and their frequent collaborator Emily Warren, ‘This Feeling’ is a country crossover dance-pop hybrid which will leave you with a warm glow. Laced with an acoustic guitar throughout, the track builds towards an enjoyable drop which is far less heavy than some of The Chainsmokers’ recent releases.

‘The Feeling’ features shared vocals from Kelsea and Drew, creating a perfectly irresistible blend. We have no doubt that this radio-ready offering will be hitting airwaves near you soon, so keep your ears open for ‘This Feeling’.

It seems that ‘This Feeling’ is a collaboration in heaven for Kelsea, who’s been keen to work with The Chainsmokers for the past few years. “I’m such a fan of these guys as people, artists, and songwriters,” she said. “I’ve covered a few of their songs on different tours and as far as collaborators, they’ve always been at the top of my list! I’m really excited for people to hear our worlds blend in ‘This Feeling.'”
The Chainsmokers also praised Kelsea, stating: “She’s incredibly genuine and talented. We were drawn to her for those reasons and many more.”
‘This Feeling’ is the latest track from The Chainsmokers and forms part of their ever growing Sick Boy…This Feeling EP. Just this week, Alex and Drew discovered that ‘Closer’, their smash hit single with Halsey, had been certified Diamond (10x Platinum). The pair were surprised with their plaques during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
