Australian pop star Starley has already notched some top chart hits and is now back with her new single ‘Signs’.
Right now, the name Starley may not ring too many bells. However, the tropical sounds of the triple platinum ‘Call on Me’ and dancefloor filler ‘Touch Me’ will be all too familiar to anyone who has turned on the radio over the past three years. Starley is the voice behind those huge hits and is now starting to showcase all that she has to offer.
‘Signs’ is the latest release from the 30-year-old, a clever-pop ditty in which she laments the inability to tie down a lover. “I don’t want to be out here looking so thirsty” she wishes as “Your mouth is poetry and I start to believe in love” – characterful lyrics that are fast becoming a Starley trademark. It’s easy to see why her voice lends itself to such big hits, she was most recently featured on Showtek’s ‘Down Easy’ with Wyclef Jean, the vocals on ‘Signs’ are as clean as they come with a huge power behind them.

It’s this genuine charm that is fast endearing the popstar to her ever-growing fanbase. Starley’s previous single ‘Love Is Love’, one of 2018’s most underrated pop songs, is bursting with charisma as it tracks the artist’s journey with her sexuality before the chorus’ care-free prioritising of love.
Most recently, Starley has been supporting Katy Perry on the Australian leg of her Witness tour. With a debut album almost finished and set for release in 2019, the clips of which appeared on the star’s Instagram stories sound cutting-edge and pop gold, and looks to be the start of a huge rise for Starley.
