One of the UK’s very favourite Country-pop crossover duo’s The Shires have burst back onto the scene this Friday (November 22nd) with the release of a stunning new single, new album details and a UK tour announcement.
The new track is titled ‘New Year’ and is a soaring ballad set around the festivities and the countdown, and how you wish you could be with your previous lover. It’s heartfelt, and thought provoking and really showcases Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes’ divine vocal harmonies.
It got its first play last night on Bob Harris’ BBC Radio 2 Country show and was also accompanied by the exciting news that their fourth studio album ‘Good Years’ will be dropping March 13th.
The record will be supported by a large scale UK headline tour throughout April, May, and June which will see The Shires performing at cities across the whole of Britain.
