The Vamps are a boy band who reside in the UK. Bradley Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey and Tristan Evans have released four albums with their two most recent offerings making up the two-part concept album Night & Day.

The Day Edition of their Night & Day album managed to climb its way to number two on the Official Album Charts after a week of it being released. Now, this album brings another achievement for the boys as it has hit gold in the UK. Today (August 10th), it was confirmed that their new album has been certified gold, which means that it has sold 500,000 units.

The Vamps posted on Twitter: ‘WOWW, our new album has already gone gold in the UK. Thanks SOOOOO much for the love!’

During the past month the boys have been non-stop. Following the release of the Day Edition of their album, The Vamps announced their American tour and a Mexico show in addition to their Four Corners UK tour which will take place next Spring.

The Vamps flew to Spain for a festival and have a string of UK festivals lined up this summer including Leeds, Newmarket, Bristol and Liverpool’s Fusion Festival. They also celebrated their sixth anniversary on August 3.

What a year it has been for the band, and with Bradley, Connor, James and Tristan still releasing tickets for countries all over the world, The Vamps show no signs of slowing down just yet.

Everybody at CelebMix congratulates The Vamps for their achievements from this year and we thank them for how much fun and laughter they have brought into our lives over the past six years of them being a band! Well done the Day Edition for going gold, let’s get it to platinum.
