Three Busted songs we wish to hear on their upcoming tour

As we all know, Busted are back on the scene and touring very soon and here at CelebMix we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the boys back! The tour kicks off on the 11th May at The SSE Arena, Wembley and lasts for over 15 dates around the United Kingdom. It’s been awhile since we’ve had the chance to see Busted live as a whole trio and we can’t wait to see them back in action doing what they truly do best. So due to them being back on tour shortly, we decided to make a list of three songs which we’d love to see Busted perform live!

3. Sleeping With The Lights On

Get your lights out, this song is one of those. Yes, a slow and beautiful song, which really shows off the group’s vocal talent. This song was played on the McBusted tour and was a real favourite for the fans, as the lights on stage dimmed the audience lit up arenas to create a stunning sea of light. It’s also a special song to fans as it was the first song which band member Matt and James wrote together!

2. Who’s David?

Who’s David? Well, he’s some guy who lives next door! This song was released as the second single from their album ‘A Present For Everyone’ and the song was a great hit! The song is over 12 years old and was co-written with McFly’s Tom Fletcher. It is written about a girl who was unfaithful. The hit peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart and became the group’s third number one! The official video was aired on CBBC back in 2004 and the video follows the band before going on to the stage at a gig.

1.Year 3000

He said I’ve been to the year 3000, not much has changed but this song is still pretty fine. Who could forget Busted’s most know hit Year 3000? This song was written by all three boys and makes references to the ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy including lines about the ‘flux capacitor’ and the time machine ‘like one in a film I’ve seen’. When this song came out back in 2003 it reached number two in the UK Singles Chart and in many top 20’s around Europe. This song live is a real crowd pleaser as it brings back memories of the real Busted and how they became a well-known band.

There you have it, three brilliant songs which we wish to be hearing live on the Pig’s Can Fly tour. Even if they don’t play any of these songs we know that we’ll enjoy the tour anyway, although we’re sure these songs will bring the roof off!
