After three years, Balance Music is back with a brand-new compilation album from their Balance series, titled “Balance 31”, and they have chosen Tim Green to take the helm, and in doing so, he has dropped his new single “Eteri” in promotion of the album. Its release follows Tim Green’s six-track album, titled “Eastbound Silhouette”.

Tim Green is a huge rising DJ and producer who has been releasing versatile house music for years under his own name, while he has also dropped techno-house music under the name APIR, which has gone on to earn hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify, and radio-friendly alternative-pop music under the name Invisible Minds, which has gained millions of Spotify streams. It’s clear that Tim Green knows music and how to craft a variety of different genres and make an impact with every single release. He is also known to make an impact, in person, as his shows are certainly ones that are not to be missed, and over the years he has performed at iconic venues around the world, including Fabric London, Panorama Bar Berlin, Amnesia Ibiza, Womb Tokyo, Space Ibiza, Watergate Berlin, Electric Pickle Miami, Jaeger Oslow, Spy Bar Chicago, and D-Edge Sao Paulo; he has also made appearances at legendary festivals such as Burning Man Nevada, Caprices Switzerland, Mysteryland Amsterdam, Lightning in a bottle California, SW4 London, Desert Hearts California, and Bestival UK.

He has always been influenced by music, with his father being a keyboardist, and his childhood home being flooded with a variety of music. At the age of 8, he learned to play the guitar, and as a teenager, he played in various bands, but as soon as he heard Daft Punk’s “Discovery” album, he fell for the electronic music genre. He has gone on to become a powerhouse in the industry, with millions of Spotify streams to his name, where his 2018 single, “His Future Ghost”, is his most-streamed track on the platform, with 7.2 million streams.

Teaming up with Balance Music, sees Tim Green follow in the footsteps of James Holden, Joris Voorn and Agoria, for the 31st volume of their compilation series. He has created a beautiful story through the 2.5-hour mix across the 28 tracks which also includes eight of his own edits. A variety of tracks can be found on the soon-to-be-released album including Elysée’s “La Chambre des Lumières”, Obbie’s “Synesthesia”, and Jamie Stevens’ “Titans”. The album is set to be officially released on May 5, digitally, and on June 2, on vinyl.

“Some of the songs are definitely more ‘outside’ of the world and genre I am currently operating in,” Tim Green explains. “But they are equally songs that I love and which I think have a certain crossover into my world and sound. The musicality and musical intent from each song is what’s most important. So, this time I haven’t tried to find and include all the latest unreleased and unheard forthcoming songs from artists, for the sake of being super fresh as this can be achieved easily in online mixes. Rather I’ve focused more on the songs I feel represent my sound, even if they are older perhaps, lesser known or slightly alternative.”

“I think this mix is perfect for long journeys,” he says. “It works especially well in scenic locations, anywhere that you can sit for a long time and savour your environment. Just breathe, relax, and take in the music alongside your surroundings.”

Listen to a teaser of Balance 31 here:

Written and produced by Tim Green, himself, “Eteri” is a stunning piece of house music that is set to be a highlight on the Balance 31 album with its brooding theme mixed around a progressive dance rhythm and a driving bassline. The track has a beautiful atmospheric production to it as it keeps the driving chime melody throughout whilst adding various melancholic sequences that boost the whole vibe of the track and guarantees a chilled yet groovy listening experience.
