Singer, songwriter, vlogger, writer, and celebrity dad of the year Tom Fletcher loves Christmas like no one else. Which means we weren’t that surprised to see he uploaded a video earlier today to celebrate that we’re halfway to Christmas. What we weren’t expecting was for Tom to reveal the cover of his first novel, The Christmasaurus, in that video.
Okay, maybe we were expecting it a little bit, because Tom has been hyping things up all week.

And to be fair, the standards for any Christmasaurus-related news have been set pretty high right from the start, with Tom announcing the book live from the delivery room.
Back to today’s video, in which we can see Tom traveling through central London in an Elf costume, on his way to Penguin for the first look at the cover for the Christmasaurus. And if the need to see Tom wearing an Elf costume isn’t enough to make you watch the video – it also features an adorable cameo from his son Buzz.
Apart from revealing a slick-looking cover for the book (“the snowflakes are bobbly too!”), Tom also announced that the novel, that will come out on 6 October, is available for pre-order as of today.
