Tom Parker, former member of The Wanted, has left his boyband roots behind and has announced his debut solo project.
Since the band announced their hiatus, Tom has been quietly honing his craft, playing across the UK and Europe to perfect and practice his live set, as well as producing his first lot of new music. Tom has released two tracks, “Undiscovered” and “Finally” which you can listen to below.

We LOVE these songs! A far cry from the boyband sound we are used to, it is clear to see that Tom has a great appreciation and passion for the House and Dance genres that can be heard on these tracks. Tom’s blend of “breezy, tropical house vibes, alongside infectious, glistening night-time beats” are certain to ignite dance floors and festivals.
Tom is currently spinning the decks at the Official Charts After Party, in association with New Look. The shows bring some of the UK’s hottest artists to student unions across the country. Tom’s also been putting his music expertise to the test by managing upcoming girl band Sweet Riot.
Tom has already amassed worldwide success with The Wanted, achieving two UK number 1 singles and nine top 10 singles. Not forgetting selling over 900,000 records, three platinum albums, two sold out arena tours and 4 Billboard 100 singles.
No doubt that Tom is ready to take on the world on his own in 2016 – it’s going to be an incredibly busy year for him as he embarks on a journey following his passion as a DJ and Music Producer. We can’t wait to hear what else Tom has in store – hopefully he’ll feature that gorgeous voice of his on a future track too!
