Not a cover version of the Fergie song, Transviolet have released this original summer synth-infused track.
The band has been going from strength to strength, touring lots, with a lot of promotion. This single release takes them in a slightly new direction.
“LA Love” is about the love hate relationship Transviolet has with LA, infused with sweet melodies and a perfect falsetto vocal from frontwoman Sarah McTaggart.
The song is dynamic with crisp vocals, although the chorus is just that slight bit too sweet. The verses, however are on-point. Catchy and funky, this song is perfect to relax to as the summer rays blaze down while sipping on an ice-cold drink.
Listen to the song below, as we wait for them to drop their music video for “LA Love”:
Transviolet are a four-piece band consisting of Sarah McTaggart, Judah McCarthy, Michael Panek and Jon Garcia. They are planning on performing at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August. They have just supported twenty one pilots on their UK tour and they will be supporting LANY on The Kinda Tour. With a planned album in the works, Transviolet are the ones to watch.
