Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Blurryface’ has reached platinum status

2016 has been an incredible year for the duo of Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dunn, formally known as Twenty One Pilots. While currently embarking on a massive arena tour across the United States, continuing onto another world tour after, and also having their song ‘Heathens‘ featured on the Suicide Squad soundtrack, you can say that the band is just full of achievement at the moment but their success doesn’t stop there. Twenty One Pilots have just hit a new career milestone as their latest album, Blurryface, has made over one million in sales and reached platinum status!

According to Billboard, Twenty One Pilots’ album Blurryface sold another 13,000 copies in the week ending July 21st, bringing its total sales to a whopping 1.005 million, therefore making Blurryface their first million dollar selling album in the U.S. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart and has not left the top 40 since its release and currently sits at the No. 3 spot.
