Last week, twenty one pilots fans took over social media sites such as Twitter when a new song from the band supposedly ‘leaked’. The song was later named as ‘Heathens’. Slowly, throughout the day, details about the song were dropped, revealing that it would feature on the ‘Suicide Squad’ movie soundtrack and later the song appeared on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes.
There was no confirmed release date for the music video and we’re sure that twenty one pilots fans have been refreshing their Twitter feeds this week waiting for the release. And it’s finally here! The music video being released with just a simple tweet from the official twenty one pilots Twitter account.

The music video features Josh and Tyler in a prison cell, sometimes surrounded by cellmates as they perform the song. It also features some exclusive scenes from ‘Suicide Squad’.
You can catch the movie in cinemas on August 5th.
Also featured on the soundtrack are songs by Imagine Dragons with Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne, Kehlani and Panic! at the Disco’s cover of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody
