On July 29, Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey posted a Snapchat that had a lot of people talking on social media.
In the Snapchat video, Tyler is hanging out with his friends when he walks over to a street called “Gay Street.” He says, “This is me. I am this and this is me. I never felt more alive…I’m gay!”

People immediately freaked out on social media. Many people believed that Tyler had just come out, while others were skeptical and thought maybe he was joking.
The situation didn’t get any better when Tyler posted another Snapchat video. The new post resembled his previous one, and went along the same lines. He filmed a lamp and said “This is me. I am this and this is me. I never felt more alive…I’m a lamp!”
Tyler then admitted that he was joking and that he is not gay. Since he didn’t actually come out, many people were offended by Tyler’s Snapchats. They believe that coming out is a serious matter, and it is a special moment for people who are part of the LGBT community.
Tyler then took to Twitter to apologize to those he offended.
