Tomorrow Una Healy kicks off her ‘The Voice Inside Of Me‘ tour in Killarney, Ireland. Una having previously toured with her bandmates in The Saturdays is no stranger to live music although this will be her first solo headline tour.
Last year saw Una releasing her debut solo album The Waiting Game. This gave her the opportunity to work with producers and songwriters including Amy Wadge and Ben Earle of The Shires fame. With her debut single Stay My Love being a duet with Sam Palladio of US TV drama Nashville who knows who could make an appearance at her upcoming live dates. Una’s country sound with pop, folk and rock elements led her to play C2C Festival in March along with a headline slot at Nashville Songwriters Festival in March.
Her recent single Never See Me Cry is an empowering anthem as Una explains ‘It’s a big ‘f you’ to a lover, a boss or a friend that’s ever made you feel small or worthless. It’s a fight song for everyone out there who are sick of being dominated – the tides are turning out there and it’s clear that it’s our time to take back control’. Let’s be honest who hasn’t been in a similar position?

Support for the tour comes from Australian artist Jacob Lee. With his recently released single Cursed being released independently without any management or label backing this tour could be the start of UK success for him.
