That’s another of the Union J Boys off the market! Singer Josh Cuthbert has announced that he has proposed to longtime girlfriend, Model Chloe Lloyd, whilst on holiday in Venice…and she said yes!
Josh is best known for being a part of Union J, who found their fame on X Factor and have since had a string of hits, whilst Chloe is an up and coming model who has covered international versions of Elle magazine.
The couple have been in a relationship for about year now, and were quick to share the news of their engagement on social media, with Cuthbert tweeting “SHE SAID YES!!! Happiest/luckiest guy in the whole world. I love you @xchloelloyd” and a link to an Instagram picture of the two. Chloe sent out her own announcement, calling Josh her best friend and her soulmate, and sharing a picture of her engagement ring.
The announcement later saw the couple become a trending topic on twitter.
Congratulations have been flooding in from both the Union J fan base and Chloe’s own supporters – including Jaymi Hensley, who was the first and so far only one of Josh’s Union J bandmates to share well wishes with the couple.
The pair have been very open with their relationship, quick to share intimate snaps and snippets of their everyday life with their fans on Social Media, and recently shared photographs of a photo shoot they have done together, which we expect to emerge in the coming months.
Here at CelebMix, we can’t help but think about Union J band member George Shelley, who is currently in Australia to take part on the next series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here (Starting tomorrow) and is likely to have entered the jungle by now. Hopefully Josh disclosed to his best mate and fellow Union J member beforehand that he planned to pop the question, since it’s likely to be old news by the time George leaves the jungle, and we’d hate to think he’d be one of the last to know!
